During the December 16 Haylur program on Channel 5, the chairperson of Healthy Society NGO Marina Khachatryan stated that the vaccines could change children’s genetics, noting that aborted fetus chromosomes are used in vaccines.
“If the fetus is a girl and the vaccine is injected in the boy, then his DNA changes and the boy develops girlish tendencies” the broadcaster quoted Khachatryan. Marina Khachatryan claims that this is a worldwide issue, and parents do not know what “DNA” the vaccine injected in their child contains.”
The Fact Investigation Platform tried to find out whether Marina Khachatryan’s claims are true.
What is a vaccine? An explainer in plain language
The immune system resists the virus that penetrates the human body. The main fighters are the white cells (leukocytes) in all their variety. As soon as the virus is detected, the “army” of the leukocytes destroys it. As a result of this endless confrontation, the human being does not get sick, although he/she is infected dozens and hundreds of times on a daily basis. The immune system protects the body. However, in some cases the virus is too aggressive and fast, and the immune system often fails to respond properly and eliminate it.
Vaccination is a detailed description of that adversary, information about the tactics used by its forces provided to the immune system. It is the “robber’s identikit”, which is distributed to the white cells, after which the “criminal” can no longer act quickly and in secret, using the surprise factor.
During vaccination, a person is injected with an extremely weakened type of the same virus, or with a killed virus, or a protein carried by the virus and causing immune response, and etc., which is unable to cause the disease, but with which the immune system learns to recognize the danger and neutralize it.
Thus, vaccination is the “military exercises” of the immune system.
Claim N1: “Vaccines use aborted fetus chromosomes”
Not fetus but fetuses, not chromosomes but complete cells. Viruses need cells for reproduction. Some viruses reproduce only in the cells of the human body and are unable to develop in other environments. This mainly applies to viruses that mankind has long been familiar with and which do not have other natural sources: measles, chickenpox, hepatitis A, etc. In order to get a vaccine against these viral diseases, you first need to grow the virus, then kill / weaken it, bring it to a safe state, and then produce the vaccine based on the outcome. But to grow the virus you need cells (human, chicken embryo, etc.).
Why Embryo Cells? There are three reasons. First and foremost, the diploid (non-sexual) embryo cells have split very few times, that is, they have undergone as few mutations as possible. Second, the two embryos used to make the vaccine today are absolutely healthy. Third, the manufacturing process from the same cellular raw material to the same standards always leads to the creation of the same vaccine with the same chemical-biological parameters, and alteration of the raw material may disturb the balance.
Thus, cells are used and not individual chromosomes.
Claim N2: “Vaccines can change children’s genetics”, due to DNA alterations “boys develop girlish tendencies”
Human DNA is formed during the fusion of maternal and paternal sex cells. At that moment the karyotype of the organism has already been clearly determined, it cannot be changed with any vaccination. Karyotype, the set of all chromosomes in the cell, also determines a person’s sex, as well as the sexuality of a person in most cases. Apart from genetics, many other factors influence the formation of sexuality and its mechanisms of expression, but the biochemical effect on the organism does not.
Claim N3: “Parents don’t know what sex ‘DNA’ their child’s vaccine contains.”
Although it does not matter what gender the donor embryo is, parents have access to this information. From the beginning, the main donors were two, female and male. The female embryo was obtained in Switzerland in 1962, lung cells originated with the launch of the WI-38 cell line, which, by the way, was the first vaccine developed against measles. The male embryo appeared in England in 1966, and started a cellular stream called MRC-5. It is used, for example, in the production of a vaccine against poliomyelitis. These two embryos have been used and continue to be used with their cell streams throughout the planet for decades. As a rule, if the vaccine is made using cell streams or chicken embryo, this information is provided in the attachment to the vaccine.
Thus, Marina Khachatryan’s claims that were reported by Channel 5 are manipulative and do not correspond to the reality.
