On March 27, 2019, Armdaily.am news website published an article stating that with the delegation headed by Ararat Mirzoyan, his two assistants, Vahan Kostanyan and Shushanik Tevanyan, also left for Germany. The article also mentioned that six MPs had left for Germany for a one-week visit.
First, it should be noted that the composition of the parliamentary delegation and the dates of its visit to Germany are written in the “News” section of the National Assembly’s official website. Here is the information that the visit to Germany lasted from March 18 to 21. Members of the parliamentary delegation included MPs Ruben Rubinyan, Lilit Makunts, Edmon Marukyan, Naira Zohrabyan and Tsovinar Vardanyan.
At the same time, contacting Vahan Kostanyan, Assistant to NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan, we were informed that among the group accompanying the delegation were Vahan Kostanyan, assistant to the NA Speaker; Artak Hovhannisyan, head of the NA Protocol Department; and Araksya Kocharyan, photojournalist of the Media and Public Relations Department.
In addition, it should be noted that if the delegation’s travel expenses are not covered by the inviting party but by the RA State Budget, the expenses are made according to the RA Government Decree N 2335 dated 29 December, 2005.
According to the abovementioned decision, in case of a visit to the German capital Berlin, the per diem is 116 euros, and the cost of the overnight stay is 160 euros. In case of a visit to other regions of Germany, the average per diem is 82 euros and the cost of the overnight stay is 113 euros.
It is also worth mentioning that Shushanik Tevanyan is not seen in the photos of the visit to Germany, so the publication of the Armdaily.am news website is an obvious disinformation and does not coincide with the reality.
