Since the start of the Russian-initiated hostilities in Ukraine on February 24, photos have been actively circulating on the Internet that are either old, have nothing to do with this war, or their circumstances are distorted.
One of such photos is allegedly the group photo of Kyiv’s Dynamo football players.
Internet users share it presenting the armed people in the photo as Kyiv’s Dynamo football players.
The photo was widely spread on the Internet, including in the Armenian-language segment. Even the Google search engine associates it with a football team representing the capital of Ukraine.
In fact, the photo has no relation to the famous football club. And the people depicted in it are members of the Ukrainian nationalist “Gonor” group.
The photo was posted on the group’s Instagram page and on the Facebook page of the group leader Serhil Filimonov on February 25.
Thus, the photo of people in military uniforms, which was spread on the Internet as evidence of the participation of Kyiv’s Dynamo football players in the war, which has no relation to the football club, shows that the people in it are members of the Ukrainian nationalist group “Gonor”.
